Cherry Focaccia

Even better toasted with butter and a sprinkle of icing sugar

1/2 teaspoon dried yeast
400g strong white flour
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
15g butter
280ml mixture of milk and water

300g cherries
butter
sugar

Put the dough ingredients into a bead maker and use the 45 minute programme.

Place the dough into a floured baking tray.
Push in the cherries.
Sprinkle with sugar.
Dot with butter.
Leave to prove for half an hour.
Bake at 180 degrees C for 25 – 30 mins.

Cool on a wire rack
