Kiwi Fruit Chutney

makes 2 jars

Ingredients:
500g kiwi fruit
100g raisins
1 onion, finely chopped
I fresh chilli, finely chopped
1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
350 g white sugar
150 ml white wine vinegar
1 teaspoon garam masala
1 tsp salt

Cut the Kiwi fruits in half lengthways, scoop out the flesh and roughly chop.
Put everything into a large pan and stir together until the sugar is dissolved.
Bring to the boil, stirring, and continue boiling until the mix becomes thick and pulpy. This will take about 30 minutes.
Ladle into sterilised jars, seal and store in a cool place.
