Fish – Oven Baked in Foil

fish
lemon slices
fresh herbs
salt and pepper

Preheat the oven to 180c and put a baking sheet in to warm
Pat the fish dry inside and out.
Salt generously inside and on both outer sides.
Make three diagonal slashes in each side of the fish
Place onto an oiled sheet of foil large enough to enclose the fish.
Stuff the cavity with the lemon and herbs.
Bring up the edges of the foil and seal tightly
Place on top of the heating baking sheet and cook for about 30 minutes depending on the size of fish.
For salmon steaks bake for around 20 mins.
