{"id":991,"date":"2020-04-02T12:42:16","date_gmt":"2020-04-02T12:42:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/recipes.maisonamaureillas.com\/?p=991"},"modified":"2020-04-02T12:42:16","modified_gmt":"2020-04-02T12:42:16","slug":"oranges-in-caramellised-syrup","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/recipes.maisonamaureillas.com\/?p=991","title":{"rendered":"Oranges in Caramellised Syrup"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Allow at least 24 hours for the flavours to amalgamate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4 oranges<br>125g sugar<br>125 ml water<br>6 cloves<br>2 tbsp orange flavoured liqueur<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Put the sugar, water and cloves into a heavy based saucepan.<br>Simmer until the sugar is dissolved then boil hard without stirring until the syrup thickens and starts to colour.<br>Remove strips of zest from one orange using a zester and place in a saucepan with a tiny amount of water.<br>Bring to the boil and simmer for a couple of minutes.
