{"id":928,"date":"2020-03-30T08:44:35","date_gmt":"2020-03-30T08:44:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/recipes.maisonamaureillas.com\/?p=928"},"modified":"2020-03-30T08:44:35","modified_gmt":"2020-03-30T08:44:35","slug":"fig-rolls","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/recipes.maisonamaureillas.com\/?p=928","title":{"rendered":"Fig Rolls"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>This biscuit dough can also be used to make garibaldi biscuits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ingredients:<br>\nFilling<br>\nfig jam<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Biscuit dough<br>\n50g butter<br>\n200g self raising flour<br>\n50g sugar<br>\n1 pinch salt<br>\nmilk to mix<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Put the flour, sugar and salt  into a bowl.<br>\nRub in the butter lightly with the finger tips until it resembles fine bread crumbs.<br>\nAdd 2 or 3 tablespoons of milk to make a stiff dough. <br>\nTurn this on to a floured board. <br>\nRoll out to about 3 mm thickness.<br>\nCut a rectangle about 10 cm x 30 cm.<br>\nSpoon a strip of fig jam down the centre.<br>\nBrush the long sides with a little milk.<br>\nFold the edges of the pastry over the jam, overlapping to form a seam.<br>\nCut into 5 cm lengths.<br>\nPlace seam side down on a baking tray lined with greaseproof paper. <br>\nBrush the tops with a little milk.<br>\nBake for about 15 &#8211; 20 minutes at 200 degrees C.<br>\nCool on a rack.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This biscuit dough can also be used to make garibaldi biscuits.
