{"id":786,"date":"2020-03-24T15:01:27","date_gmt":"2020-03-24T15:01:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/recipes.maisonamaureillas.com\/?p=786"},"modified":"2020-03-24T15:01:27","modified_gmt":"2020-03-24T15:01:27","slug":"garibaldi-biscuits","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/recipes.maisonamaureillas.com\/?p=786","title":{"rendered":"Garibaldi Biscuits"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>This biscuit dough can also be used to make fig rolls.<br>\nIngredients:<br>\nFilling<br>\n100g currants, roughly chopped<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Biscuit dough<br>\n50g butter<br>\n200g self raising flour<br>\n50g sugar<br>\n1 pinch salt<br>\nmilk to mix<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Put the flour, sugar and salt  into a bowl.<br>\nRub in the butter lightly with the finger tips until it resembles fine bread crumbs.<br>\nAdd 2 or 3 tablespoons of milk to make a stiff dough. <br>\nTurn this on to a floured board. <br>\nRoll out to about 5 mm thickness, keeping the dough a regular shape.<br>\nCut it in half. <br>\nSprinkle the currants over one half and cover with the other piece of dough. <br>\nPress the pieces together with the rolling pin until 5 mm thick. <br>\nCut into rectangles and prick with a fork.<br>\nBake on a tray lined with greaseproof paper for about 15 &#8211; 20 minutes at 200 degrees C.<br>\nCool on a rack.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This biscuit dough can also be used to make fig rolls.
