{"id":1285,"date":"2021-11-25T10:43:38","date_gmt":"2021-11-25T10:43:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/recipes.maisonamaureillas.com\/?p=1285"},"modified":"2021-11-25T10:43:38","modified_gmt":"2021-11-25T10:43:38","slug":"victoria-sponge-cake","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/recipes.maisonamaureillas.com\/?p=1285","title":{"rendered":"Victoria Sponge Cake"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>2 small size cake tins &#8211; 17cm<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cake:<br>150g soft butter<br>150g sugar<br>150g SR flour<br>1 teaspoon baking powder<br>3 large eggs<br>1 teaspoon vanilla extract<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Filling:<br>50g soft butter<br>100g icing sugar<br>splash of milk<br>Strawberry jam<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beat the sugar and butter together, add sifted flour, beaten eggs and vanilla extract \u2013 whisk for 1 minute.<br>Put into lined tins and bake for about 25 mins at 180 degrees C<br>Cool on a wire rack<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Make a butter cream by sifting half of the icing sugar into the butter then beat until smooth.
